Is NVIDIA� GeForce� 310M GPU, 512MB dedicated video RAM a good graphics card?

I am looking at a computer to buy and it comes with the graphics card(above) and I am thinking of doing some computer gaming like a First Person Shooter for example Call of Duty. With this in mind is this a good graphics card to use for gaming and still have great quality or should I upgrade it? Please give me so insight on, if this is good and why or why should I upgrade and if i was to upgrade what would be a good graphics card to get.. I don't know if the computer is PCI, AGP or PCI Express. Thank you for your time. :)
