Why does Keanu Reeves look homeless?

Ok...seriously, what is the deal? Keanu Reeves was reportedly one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood after the Matrix series yet he walks around West Hollywood in dirty clothes! In addition, when he is clean shaven he is strikingly y for a 43 year old American white male who tend to age faster than men of color. I can understand stars who want to avoid negative allegations from the media but he has pefected drunken hobo status. Has anyone met him? What is his deal? I have been a fan for years but seriously, he is grossing me out! I don't get it. What do you think?
